The study focused on the demand of livestock and vegetable products in the Banteay Meanchey province of Cambodia. The purpose of the study aimed to collect agriculture market information for assisting poor families to develop business plans for livestock products or vegetable products.
Worker Health behavior change communication (BCC) campaign for Marie Stop Cambodia The assignment lead by Young Development Research & Consulting Co., Ltd. The assignment did cover 29 garment factories in Phnom Penh and Kandal province. It is a mix study of qualitative and quantitative study. We used tablets for an offline survey and audio recorders for recording information of in-depth interview and group discussions.
Value chain study on vegetable production, The assignment was for the Kampong Chhnang province of Cambodia. The assignment aimed to collect agricultural market data on vegetable to inform farmers on high priority vegetable products and value chain development, to strengthening value chains and food security, through cooperative-based capacity building in Cambodia for the CO-OPERATIVE ASSOCIATION OF CAMBODIA.
Strengthening farmers and community-based organizations (CBOs) Final Evaluation for rural development in the province of Ratanakiri, Cambodia, for ETEA Cambodia. The assignment was an final evaluation of economic projects for indigenous people in the highland of Ratanak Kiri province in two districts.
Smart Labor Migration and Anti-Human Trafficking Project, supported by The Asia Foundation for four years, in three provinces: Prey Veng, Kampong Cham, Siem Reap. This was a labor migration study the study also involved the provincial departments of labor and vocational training, the National Employment Agency, and teenager attending the high school.
Cambodian EXCEL project “Eliminating exploitative child labor through education and livelihoods”, funded by the United States of America – Department of Labor (USDoL) This research included a survey with more than 1.000 probands across six provinces in Cambodia. The project was about child labor involving many high schools, researching why and how adolescent drop out of school, seeking jobs as laborers or non-skilled workers in the cities and across the border.
Cambodia Countering Trafficking in Persons Project (CCTIP). This assignment contained a large survey with more than 2.000 probands in 10 provinces of Cambodia.The study was about potential labor migration, current labor migrants who visited home, and returned labor migrants. The study defined the demands for job opportunities for teenager at the age of 14 who are likely to quit school, and the needs for returned labor migrants.
“Saving for Change Programme” Oxfam America Final evaluation of for 325 villages in Kampot Province. This was a large survey of people and micro-credit businesses at community level. It aimed to explore, how rural micro–credit can support sustainability and contribute to job generation.
