Impact Comparative Study on Integrated Nutrition, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Early Child Care and Development (ECCD) Programs

Description of assignment: YDRC provided consultancy on Comparative Impact Study on integration of Nutrition, WASH, and ECCD program.

Plan International Cambodia is currently implementing Nutrition, ECCD and WASH programs in all four target provinces: Siem Reap, Tboung Khmum, Ratanak Kiri and Stung Treng. In some villages, communes and districts the fully integrated programs of these three programs (Nutrition, ECCD and WASH) is implemented, while the other villages, communes and districts have only two integrated programs among these three programs (e.g., Nutrition and ECCD, Nutrition and WASH or ECCD and WASH), and some villages, communes and districts have only stand-alone program (e.g., Nutrition, ECCD or WASH) is implemented

Description of actual services for the assignment:

The actual tasks are:

• Design study protocol, review data collection tool, and develop data management software;
• Submit study protocol to the National Ethics Committee for Health Research (NECHR) for clearance;
• Conduct training to data collectors to ensure the quality of field data collection;
• Conduct field data collection to 1670 parent/ mothers/ care givers
• Conducting data collection to 1886 children
• Lead data collection, data cleaning and analysis;
• Analysis and writing report to present to stakeholders
• Finalize comparative impact study report to Plan International.
